Suno Dual Output Plan: The Relay Room Keeps Breathing
Suno Dual Output Plan: The Relay Room Keeps Breathing
Boundary
No Suno creation, upload, publishing, public release, external API action, paid tool, new dependency install, account action, or platform action has been performed by this plan.
Private Suno generation requires John's explicit approval in this same conversation. Publishing is not approved.
Purpose
Test whether Dakota's local composition decisions improve Suno's musical result compared with the same lyric/style package without Dakota's guide.
Lane A - Composition-Guided
Use:
- same lyrics as Lane B;
- same style field as Lane B, with Style Influence 68;
- Dakota Vale voice if available and approved;
- `guide-track.mp3` as Song Demo;
- Audio Influence 32;
- Weirdness 30;
- v5.5, Advanced mode, save to Dakota Vale workspace.
The guide should help preserve:
- title-hook contour;
- conversational verse entrances;
- B-suspended pre-chorus pressure;
- late C-major chorus warmth;
- changed second chorus ending;
- delayed final chorus return.
Lane B - No-Composition Control
Use:
- same lyrics;
- same style field;
- same voice choice;
- Style Influence 72;
- Weirdness 30;
- no audio guide;
- no Dakota composition input.
Comparison Package
After private generation, compare:
- Dakota local guide: `guide-track.mp3`
- Suno Lane A: composition-guided output
- Suno Lane B: no-composition output
Use `chatgpt-comparison-prompt.md` for the external listening/analysis pass.
Success Criteria
Lane A only counts as composition progress if it improves musical decisions, not just polish:
- clearer and more memorable title-hook identity;
- better phrase entrances, endings, pickups, and rests;
- more purposeful harmonic timing and chorus warmth;
- clearer pulse without over-filling the arrangement;
- stronger second/final chorus transformation;
- less generic nocturnal folk drift than Lane B.
