Guide Track v4 Rationale - Pressure Glass

Why v4 Exists

Suno rejected the v3 guide upload as copyright/existing-recording similarity before Audio Influence could be applied. John clarified the correct rule: do not make the music more abstract unless the study material itself calls for abstraction.

V4 preserves the study-led Pressure Glass composition and changes the likely audio fingerprint causes: stock patch identity, block-chord voicing, repeated MIDI-library-like shapes, and voice-ooh rendering.

Composition Preserved From Study

The guide remains a four-state pressure mechanism:

1. Needle in the room: the pressure object is present before the song moves. 2. Weather habit: a restrained rural pulse appears through work-like guitar and bass. 3. Under glass: pressure gathers through added room/weather texture, not a big chorus. 4. Latch holds, unresolved: the guide thins without resolving.

The governing technique remains objective correlative: the barometer, latch, pressure glass, wind, kettle, and repair work carry the emotion.

Study-Faithful Safety Changes

The guitar role remains the farmhouse wall/work rhythm, but v4 uses broken voicings and staggered notes instead of stock sustained triad blocks.
The needle remains a sparse high object, but its motif is less evenly repeated and uses altered durations/register touches.
The bass remains the inherited pressure under the floor, but avoids predictable root-block movement.
The weather string remains the wind entering the room, but its phrases are offset and less pad-like.
The room/human texture remains close presence, but v4 avoids the obvious `voice_oohs` patch and uses a softer `halo_pad` room tone as a study-faithful replacement.
The latch percussion remains minimal and object-like, but the hits are less grid-regular.
Render profile changes from `musescore-intimate` to `generaluser-balanced` to avoid the rejected v3 SoundFont fingerprint.

What Is Not Changed

No abstraction pass.
No pure-synthesis placeholder guide.
No removal of the study-led instrumentation roles.
No conventional chorus lift added.

What The Guide Should Tell Suno

V4 should still communicate sparse rural Americana pressure in G minor at 82 BPM: restrained work rhythm, cracked-barometer needle motif, low floor pressure, weathered string air, close room presence, latch-like percussion, small pressure increase, and an unresolved ending.
